the weirdest thing thats ever happened to me is when my dad told me this story about when he was 14 and was walking home with his brother after dark and as they were walking past an old field they heard a rustling noise and when they turned around they saw the corpse of this dead sheep and my dad was scared so his brother teased him about him ‘seeing a ghostttt’. But then the next night my dad was waiting for his brother when he heard someone shouting so he turned around and no one was there. He was still a bit paranoid from the night before so he went on home by himself and tripped over a log near the field from last night and he heard more shouting so ran and on the way lost both shoes. But we he came home a shoe was on his bed. Weird right? But then when me and him were walking past that same field a few months ago and of course what do we see, the other shoe from around 30 years ago too….

My best friend’s brother used to tell his mom that he was nervous sleeping alone because “the flat orange pumpkin” slid under his door & asked him to play. One night they found him outside in the playroom, because he said that the pumpkin finally convinced him to come outside. When they asked where it was, he pointed to the corner.

When my sister was 2 or 3 we bought a new house. When we first moved in, she asked my mom who the lady in the kitchen was. There was no one in the kitchen!

This is more of a ghost story, but I spent a good chunk of my childhood on an island called Okinawa south of Japan, it was an important island during WWII. And I heard a lot of ghost stories when I first moved there about spirits stuck out at sea or stuck on the island after the war and after awhile I was really use to to them. But one that really sticks out in my mind was that when there are big typhoons some of the spirits are trying to seek out shelter from the storm, but I was taught not to invite them in if I ever met one, and I didn’t think anything of it other than a ghost story. But when I was about 8 or 9 a really big typhoon hit the island and I remember I couldn’t sleep because the wind and rain were just too loud. So I look out the window and there’s only one street lamp on in my cul-de-sac and I see a shadow near the lamp, about the size of a person. At first I though nothing of it maybe my neighbor was getting something from the car, who knows. So I keep watching cause I’m bored, but after a minute or two of nothing, it’s moves and looks at my window like it sees me watching it so run to my big sister room and look through her window and the figure isn’t by the lamp post anymore, safe to say I was terrified and slept in my sister room the rest of the typhoon season and wouldn’t look out my window at night for awhile ?

I know this might be unbelievable but it’s a true story. So one of my best friends tried to kill himself, it failed and he was sent to the hospital. A couple of days later, I got a call saying that he was dead. Then the next day, I get a call saying that he was alive. He had just fallen into a coma that induces pain. It is something new that the doctors had never seen so they had pronounced him dead. For me, that is an absolute miracle and definey the strangest experience in my life.

One time I was sitting on a bench in a park by myself with my headphones in. I was taking a break from running, and was scrolling through instagram. Some kid sat down next to me and I was like “ok, this is fine, I’ll leave soon” cause I hate strangers. She proceeds to take out a bag of funions and eat them slowly, staring at me the whole time. She would just very calmly stuff a whole one in her mouth and chew it slowly while staring at me. I just stood up and kept running because there was no way I was gonna watch her eat the whole bag. It was crazy!

Hi! I don’t know if this experience is strange enough, but here I am ? My mom always believed in dreams predictions. She told me that when she was pregnant of my older sister, she dreamt of his granma saying sweet things to her, like “your baby is going to be smart and pretty, and you’ll be happy”. My mom didn’t remember all the exact words, but these “don’t worry about your family, everything is going to be alright”. She remember that so well because after these words, the phone started ringing: it was my father. He found a stable job, after a not-so-happy amount of time.
I just can’t understant how is this story even possible, and neither she does. Suggestions? ?

Well I’m not sure if it’s strange enough, but there is this supposed haunted bridge near my town and my friends and I decided to go check it out. So we parked under it and turn off the car. Then after a few minutes it looked like little handprints started popping up on all the windows so we wanted to leave, but when we tried to turn the car on, it kept turning over. After freaking out it finally turned back on and we left as fast as we could.

Nothing too strange has ever happened to me really. The only thing I can think of is when I was on a bus one day and there was a cute guy sat a few seats further down. A few stops before I would get off, the cute guy stood up and walked off the bus. He didn’t walk back past the bus so I thought I’ll get one last chance to look at him when we drive past him as he must have started walking up the street. But the bus drove on and the cute guy had completely vanished! He was nowhere, it was like he stepped off the bus and vanished.

Weirdest thing that happened must have been one time a few years ago I got up in the middle of the night to find some medicine (I was sick and was planning on staying home from school). It was like 4-5 am so no one should have been awake, but as I went into the kitchen my dad started talking to me about stuff that didn’t make sense at all. Only, when I went up stairs to return to my room I saw both my parents sleeping in their room (their door is always open so that the cat can come and go as she likes). So who did I talk to? Did I just imagine the whole thing???

Well, I’ve kind of always had strange and unusual things happen to me. I grew up on an old farm house and I’m just very comfortable with feeling like there’s something/one else around. But I haven’t lived there in almost 5 years so that feeling had kind of been tucked away and forgotten about. Until may when my fiancé and I moved into our new apartment. I felt my fiancé sit on the edge of our bed while I was facing the wall about to fall asleep and then the room got pretty chilly so I automatically went “umm, Bart?” And that’s when he said “what?” …….from the kitchen. I instantly jumped up and out to the living room and that feeling quickly went away. So yeah, basically we’re coliving with something/one. But they seem friendly enough!
Love this box and love your shop! This was fun!

I was in Montessori when a weird thing happened… I don’t know why or what made me go towards wall, there was a sticker on it, and I started scratching it from the wall and somehow I ended up with a bad bruise on my left brow… it was really bad but not bad enough to get stitches…though I still have a mark over my brow :’D

Have you ever seen a grown man throw a temper tantrum? I have. A few years back, while driving my commute, I was passing through the downtown section of the city. While stopped in dreadful traffic, I glanced about. I like to people watch (not in a creepy stalker way, mind you) and one particular gentleman caught my fancy. He was dressed to the nines: pressed slacks, crisp button up shirt tucked in under his glossy belt, and a very official briefcase in hand. Well, despite his knotted tie and sleek shoes, he was stomping his way down the sidewalk with a sour look on his face. As he jerked his head about in what I don’t doubt was an internal argument, he flung his arms around and seemed to be lost in his own world. Then he approached a telephone pole, and as he came face to face with it he kicked it as hard as he could and threw his arms over his head and yelled something I didn’t catch. Then he disappeared on his not-so-merry way, and left me in my car laughing uncontrollably.

Alright, so I’m a New Orleans native, which basically translates to the fact that everyday in the city is strange, so growing up I just embraced all the strange and weird…which is probably a large component to who I am now.
Anyway, that being said, when I was living in Texas I was working and I had one that I was just like, “what?!” I swear I met a werewolf. Not the howling at the moon, super furry, maybe a tad bit rabid werewolf, but a Twilight one.
Like, he was tan like Jacob, jet black perfect hair, always wore sunglasses, and was super strong and silent type.
I don’t know, I just saw him and was determined that he was totally a werewolf…with a caffeine addiction that was completely understandable since I would probably be tired too is i stayed up all night. Also, he worked as a mechanic, which I feel like is further proof of his wolfiness.
Not gonna lie, I was a bit obsessed and if I had had my best friend with me, I would have launched an investigation to catch him shifting…which would have ended up as me recording it all and turning it into a book.
I don’t know if this counts as a strange encounter, but this is the only thing that has stuck with me, and like I said, being from New Orleans that says a lot.

I had the WEIRDEST thing happen to me before we moved. I was about 7 years old, and I woke up in the middle of the night, thinking I heard something strange. Then, out of nowhere, I hear this horrible screech and a huge freaking VAMIPRE BAT comes flying at me from my bedroom door, slams into my face, knocking me over, then zooms back out into the rest of the house. Terrified, I go wake my mom up, who is baffled and somewhat doesn’t believe me, but she claims she thought she heard some kind of flapping, like wings. But we didn’t have any windows open or anything, and I don’t believe we had an attic, so we couldn’t figure out where the bat would have come from or where it went. I’m still not entirely sure if it was a dream or not, and I doubt my mom remembers the encounter. But to this day I have a faint marking on the bridge of my nose, and no one else in my family seems to remember where the mark came from…

About four years ago my family and I were camping and we decided to go on a hike. The trail isn’t awfully hard, but there had been a fire in the forest recently and it had made it a little more tricky. A lot of fallen trees and things. I have asthma and the air gets pretty thin on top of the mountain, so by the time we were on our way back I was struggling. I was a little light headed and woozy. When we’re about a half a mile, maybe a bit more, from the trail head I heard bag pipes. I told my family and they kind of laughed and figured it was because I was out of it. But then, crap came full circle when we got to the trail head and saw two men in kilts playing bag pipes two hours from any civilization. A very strange encounter, and also my biggest I told you so moment ever.

One of the strangest thing ever happen to me was I was in church. And I saw one of my friend there talking to someone. When I got outside to buy something at the store I saw my friend there walking out. Im shock because he’s at our church and why he’s there at the store? I think it’s his doppelganger. Shocks!

I can wait for the contents of this box! The strangest thing that happened to me was not a Halloween, but the day after. We were going on a weekend trip to Nevada for two days, so we packed our bags and left. There were no security cameras, an alarm system, or anything of the sort. The minute we came back, we saw that garage and front door was open. My dad pulled out a knife from the trunk of the car and walked in like a person walks into the house with a gun in a cinematic film. He walked into the house and screamed a blood curdling scream. My mom and I ran in to see a dead rat and my unhurt dad, and wondered what was so frightening. Another strange thing was dropping one fry and having a whole flock of crows come at me the next Halloween.. but that’s a different story

Last year, I used to study in a small college and they were slowly buying more buildings so they could include more programs. There was a particular building that used to be a bank, but they turned it into a series of unfinished classrooms and a small daycare. I used to do work/study in the daycare and, since there were so many babies, there was always a lot of noise. Since that building was a bit more solitary (only the babies and the caretakers were there) I liked to eat my lunch near some of the classrooms. At one point I started hearing doors opening and closing aggressively, laughter and footsteps like someone was running. I thought it was normal because of the daycare so I didn’t pay much attention to it. That went on for about a month, until someone finally told me that they had moved the daycare to another building and the construction workers hadn’t come by in months, so I was the only one there. To this day I’m still really freaked out by that place, especially since the area with the noises was at the back of the building and it was kind of dark

When I was in fifth grade, I woke up from a rather weird dream only to find my Christmas lights off in my bedroom. It turned out that they had burned out and could have caused a fire. I had a mirror behind my bed and ended up turning around with my comforter over my head. At the end of my bed was a blonde little girl just staring at me. I screamed and my mom came running in, by that time, thw other little girl was gone. Turns out the burnt out lights could have started a fire. To this day, my mom still believes that she was there to keep me safe.

So my strangest encounter was when I was watching my little brother. I had just gotten him to sleep and I was going downstairs to read my book when my door slammed shut behind me. Of course I jumped since I wasn’t expecting this and i opened the door to see what had caused it. There was nothing that would have caused it though so I went downstairs. When I was down there I heard the stairs creaking but no one was on them. About 20 minutes later there is banging on the front door and when I went to open it it stopped. Once I say back down it picked up again and then stopped when I was going to open it again. When I opened it there was nothing there and I was freaked the f*ck out so I went upstairs to my bros room and locked the door so I could protect him just incase. I never found out who was knocking but we moved a year later and I was so relieved.

Ooo! Saw someone comment about ghost experience so it made me remember all the creepy things that happen! So my little sister use to be able to see ghosts! She would talk to people in the backseat when no one else was back there. She would wave to her “friends” when we’d pass a certain graveyard near our house. My mom heard her name being called in the baby monitor a long time ago and when she went to check it no one was in there. But the creepiest experience of all is the porcelain doll my grandma use to have. It was one of those dolls with a string on the back that you pull and it talks. Well one day my uncle was walking to the bathroom in my nanys room and the doll started talking, “will you come and play with me,” was one of several sayings it said but honestly the only one I can remember. It freaked him out pretty bad. I use to get really uneasy beingbin her room with that doll, it just gave me a feeling of dread each time I was near it. One day I wanted to see for myself if anything would happen and also didn’t really want t looking at me so I turned the doll sideways and when I turned to walk towards the bed I saw it move back into place and immediately I ran out of the room. She ended up getting rid of it but wen the other person got it she complained that the arm was broken so they sent it back and my nany told the post office to keep it because she didn’t want it anymore. We have a theory that the doll broke itself so that it would get sent back. I know a lot of people don’t believe in all this ghost stuff but I promise none of this is made up. I can now go into my nanys room without feeling uneasy and uncomfortable.

When I used to do caregiving as a part-time, my patient unfortunateky died during my watch. They took her body away, and I had to be left alone in her house while I waited for my mom to pick me up. She had one of those old on the wall phone with the really obnoxious ringing sound, and it was going off incessantly. I decided to pick it up, thinking maybe it was a relative checking in. So, I went ahead and greeted the caller, but there was no dial tone. I found that odd, so I checked the phone line…and it wasn’t even plugged in. I decided to just wait for my ride outside the driveway, because there’s no way I was staying in that house!

I guess I’d have to go with all the stuff that happens while I’m at work (Kmart fashions). People pee in the dressing rooms, sometimes even on the clothes ?. We have a regular shopper who comes in there with his 2 cats in a little stroller. Shop lifters come in all the time! The funniest and weirdest time was when a guy came in and you could already sense something was off, he walked around and ended up shoving clothes into his shirt and pants and when a co worker of mine confronted him at the service desk he said he wasn’t stealing anything. He walked back toward the clothes and even though I wasn’t over there to see this exact moment my co workers in fashions told me he started pulling clothes out of his shirt and pants and throwing them all over the place all while mumbling stuff to himself. My work experiences are definitely the weirdest ?

I am beyond excited for this box. I love all this strange and unusual! I’ve had a couple things happen that I would consider strange experiences. One day, and this was at least two years ago when I was sleeping in the room that was my room for years in my home, my mom had come in to bring me my medicine. As I was taking it, there were footsteps coming up the stairs, which are right next to the wall of my room so it was loud. I assumed it was my brother coming to talk to my mom, but he never came around the corner to my room. The strange thing, the footsteps never went back downstairs, and my brother was in his room downstairs! That was the only time I’d ever heard footsteps on the stairs that didn’t belong to my mom or brother. Something else that I would call strange, but I still don’t know if it’s real, I just really hope it is because it brings me comfort, is that I’m pretty sure I’ve been visited by my Papa(Grandfather) twice while sleeping. Once a couple years after he passed, and once not too long ago, maybe like two months ago. I hope other people write their strange experiences on here!
