September 2018 theme: Back to School!

September brings about feelings of nostalgia for people in the United States. School has either just begun or is about to begin, your vacation is over, the summer is coming to an end. You find yourself in arguably the nicest weather time of year; it’s still warm enough to wear shorts and the days are compressing from their stretch. Cooler breezes blanket your evenings and the excitement of tomorrow can be felt with every step!

For this grade-school theme we went back to the 90’s when the most appealing thing a computer could do for a kid was feed and walk it’s Tamagotchi keychain pet. A time when Ms. Frizzle would bring you on a magical adventure to explore the solar system, back when Pluto used to be known as the 9thplanet from our sun.

Step back in time and enjoy all the freedom of your youth with this adorably curated box of delight! Comment your favorite grade-school memories below for a chance to win this box for free! Giveaway ends August 27th.

My favorite grade school memories has to be going on field trips to the museums and enjoying recess! Not to mention all the time I spent playing math-based computer games just for fun. What I would do to be in grade school again playing kickball, playing tag, and learning how to do the double dutch!

My favorite back to school memory was picking out new supplies.

The nineties were my school years- I was turning 8 years in September 1990 and boy did I love school. Nothing could beat the rush of going into the computer lab and finding out it was Oregon Trail Day, or seeing the rainbow parachute brought out in gym class, or getting the orange drink from Macdonalds on special occasions like playday! Or the very best day of the year- the book fair!

One of my fav things about back to school was playing sports again. All the school teams you could try out for. Loved it!

I was finally able to light the Carnival Night candle and loved it! It truly smells better and better as the candle burns. I also purchased the Christmas Tree scented candle and very much look forward to using it as it smells amazing already!

Lasts Forever

The scent is as described and really lasts a long time in a warmer.

The candle smelled good.

Once it was lit it didn’t have an overly strong scent but it was good. I wish it smelled a bit stronger while it was burning. Overall it’s a good candle:

Relaxing and perfect for a bedroom. The baby powder smell slightly over powers the lavender.

Perfect and Adorable

Bought an order of 20 mini adorable candles for gift bags and they are perfection, as I can always expect from Dio Candle. The packaging is super cute and professional, plus they smell really great!
