The Sound of Music has always been one of my favorite movies, so I'm bummed this candle is retired after I just discovered it. I like it more than I thought I would. I'm not normally a fan of cucumber or fresh scents but this one was very well done. The cold throw isn't overpowering and the lavender is great. The hot throw is about the same. I'm glad I got to experience this candle before it goes. Thank you!

I love a good themed candle, and this one made a perfect Christmas gift for my mother who LOVES The Sound of Music. It smells like the great outdoors; like being on top of a mountain, near a lake. Wow, writing these reviews had made me realize how poorly I know how to describe scents! It really does evoke a Swiss mountain covered in wildflowers. Or I guess Sound of Music happened in Austria. Well, I haven't been to Austria, but I've been to Switzerland, so I'm going to stand by my first statement. I mean, Alps are Alps, right?
The wax melts for this scent don't last quite as long as some of the others I have, but I love it still!
