The item came beautifully packaged. Very professional in appearance. I got the bookstore scented candle and it smells exactly as it says! It has the smell of book pages though a bit more strongly concentrated. But the more you smell the more the subtle notes of leather and coffee come through. I also wasn’t expecting the freebie which I am going to get one for myself as this is a gift. It was spiced apple donut and OMG it made me hungry but also had the spirit of fall in it. Perfect for a cozy book. I also like the little hand written sticky note. I thought it was a nice touch.

This is my honest review.
None of the candles I bought have a scent further than sitting right next to them and even then is very faint . I didn't expect a large throw from a 1 oz candle but I expected something. And I'm getting nothing. Not even the 4oz candles are doing anything. How can every candle I bought be a dud? Customer service was good but at the end of the day I have a $70 order ($80 if you count shipping) of candles that I can't smell.

I love supporting small businesses whenever I can, and I didn’t hesitate to order this candle when I came across it. But if I’m being honest, I couldn’t smell any scent coming off this candle, even after it had been burning for an hour. (And no, I don’t have Covid.) I really wanted to like this, but I don’t see myself ordering this again.
