Bowling Candle

One of my favorites so far. A rich and warm scent to remind of your old bowling league or maybe you just like the smell of pine. 😆

Weird smell but I can see what they were going for.

I have to give a warning for this candle: it will make you think fondly of the bowling alley. Do not fall for its wiles. Yes, it smells like pine and shoe squeaks and vices, and you'll think to yourself "The bowling alley! What a fun time, I should go" and go you do, and no sooner does this candle leave your nose that you regret your decision. You can't smoke in the bowling alley anymore, no one is wearing silly patterned shirts and talking smack, and half of the complex has been replaced by an arcade featuring the Angry Birds game and claw machines with Bitcoin prizes. Sure, there's beer, and you can still bowl, but this isn't The Big Lebowski - your fellow "teams" are awkward bored couples and gaggles of employees on a "team-building" exercise who sip Blue Moons and wouldn't dare whoop or pump their fist. No, you're better off at home, where you can burn this candle and think of childhood birthday parties that included puffs of menthols over the cake and at least one blue-collar father losing his cool at the video poker game in the corner.

Nice candle with an interesting scent profile. I'd say that the popcorn and soft pretzel scents don't come through too strongly, mostly a sort of spiced anise/black licorice smell, akin to Jager. However, the burn is clean, scent is strong and item is quality. Only thing I'd change is to dial back the spiced scents a little as the other layers get sort of lost in it.

I have purchased several different scented wax melts from Dio. All are great! I like their unique combos and themes. Bowling is a favorite and go to. Something very comforting about the scent. Highly recommended for something different yet familiar.

This smelled like incense, which is fine if you like that. I am not sure how bowling is supposed to factor into it, though. Like the other candles I got, this was hard to light, and barely smelled while burning, so I guess the smell didn't matter much at the end of the day. But still, BOWLING?? Just how? I have to assume whoever made this candle has never been to a bowling alley.

Enterprise is my favorite so far, followed closely by the raven, very relaxing scents all round.

Bowling Candle

It smells like a bowling alley with the beer and tobacco and it smells gross but also good? I cant stop sniffing it.

My family are big into bowling so this was an obvious purchase for our gift exchange this year! If you’re worried about it smelling a little /too/ much like a musty bowling alley do not fret! To be honest it actually smells pretty good :)
