Blustery Day Candle

Decided to light this candle up as I was cleaning my apartment, and I thought it was raining outside (but it was not). Reminds me of cozy rainy day with a good book to read

Blustery Day is a VERY addictive scent. Being from New England, the smell of wind and oak leaves is something I crave all year. This smell is not only quite accurate to the smell of a blustery day, but it also adds a level of relaxation. It reminds me of sitting by my window on a stormy day and reading a good book.

Excellent scented wax melts ! And scent last a long time.

First, I had read several reviews that said this scent was reminiscent of Fall leaves and the outdoors; which is what I was looking for. However it doesn't really smell like leaves to me...at all. It smells more like a really nice scented soap, but not really anything that reminds me of the outdoors. It smells good, just not what I was looking for.

Second, the smell isn't strong at all when burning the candle. In other words, it doesn't fill the room with it's scent at all. The smell when not lit is generally as strong as it gets.

I was hoping for more...

Very close to "Thunderstorm", but with a tiny bit more earth.
One of my favorite candles!

This is another lovely scent! Everything I’ve bought and burned so far from Dio has smelled fantastic! These jars (8 oz) last a really long time, which is great because I work from home and basically burn candles every day for several hours. This one smells like a crisp, clean, windy autumn day. Just as described! Smells great!

This candle smells amazing and exactly as described. The scent of dirt, petrichor and leaves all come through to create a very pleasant aroma. Another hit from dio.

Fall is my absolute favorite season. This captures a blustery day perfectly.

For the life of me I can't think of the name of the other candle that they have that's similar to this one, but this has a far earthier smell to it than Midnight Meetup. The dirt and rain definitely make an appearance in this one while, to me, the leaves leave (heh, get it?) a subtler note. Very earthy, very autumny, and perfect for a windy day mixed with some rain!

Wow! This totally captures a rainy day, sitting on my porch swing on my farm. Kind of like rain on the field after the hay is cut. Soooo perfect.
