I definitely get the pineapple and it is delightful. It also has a hint of floral for me.

The Great Barrier Reef is easily one of my favorite summer scents. The aquatic notes blend beautifully to create a realistic and just sweet enough scent. It’s easy to burn with other aquatics and is very complementary to Dio’s other aquatic scents. Personally I love burning it next to Beached Mermaid. If I want less sweet, Book at the Beach is my go to. So obsessed with this one!

The Great Barrier Reef brings me memories of Finding Nemo and the ride of the turtles as the hippiest of the turtles sings “Flow.” It’s just what one can easily imagine the elements of open seas with a light fruity breeze drifting across the sea from the nearby islands.
One can almost see the myriad rainbows of colored fish as they dart by with the languorous movement of the larger sea creatures as their background.
The pineapple and orange are sweeter than usual in this blend, with the sea salt, coral and water accords adding an essence that finds its home in the great southern Pacific. This has a creamy texture to its notes top to base. I find it easy to melt into this scent.

Everything about this candle is amazing. From the stunning label, to the beautiful blue color, to the fruity fresh scent. I just love how fresh this candle is and the nice little kick of citrusy sweet at the end. It reminds me of summer and has me dreaming of sandy beaches.

This is the one from the subscription box that my kids all tried to steal from me. It’s fresh and sweet. Would be a good tropical shampoo. It’s actually not my thing, but I imagine that the majority of people are going to love this one.

This candle is almost too good. My husband tried to swipe it, but I was eagle-eyed enough to catch him. It's a great fresh, tropical scent, and is perfect for a cold winter day when you want to remember what the sun, sand and surf feel like. The colour is gorgeous too, such a lovely shade of blue. Our whole family loves this one, dogs included!

My wife is the one who is candle crazy. I love her, and I like the candles she buys, but its not my main thing. This one is an exception. Enough so that I came here to review it. Smelling Great Barrier Reef was like standing for a moment on the shore of the ocean, with sand under my toes and without a care in the world. It has a subtlety in the scent that does not just speak of the ocean, but evokes the the wildness of the ocean breeze. I have already asked my wife to order another with our next batch.
