Reading by the Fire Candle

Warm, soothing, and full of all the notes I love/typically look for in my candle scents. Been lighting it every time I've started back on my Summer reading list this month. Can't recommend enough.

I'm a big reader. I bought my house because it has a beautiful fireplace. Unfortunately, it doesn't work. Not that you asked… The point of this is I burn this candle, find a cool Yule log on YouTube, and grab a book and I'm suddenly living my dream- escaping into a fantasy world without leaving the comfort of my couch- and enjoying the smell of a fancy fireplace. No mess!

This is my honest review.
None of the candles I bought have a scent further than sitting right next to them and even then is very faint . I didn't expect a large throw from a 1 oz candle but I expected something. And I'm getting nothing. Not even the 4oz candles are doing anything. How can every candle I bought be a dud? Customer service was good but at the end of the day I have a $70 order ($80 if you count shipping) of candles that I can't smell.

This smells exactly like sitting in front of a wood burning fire place. The predominant scent is fire/smoky but I do discern a bit of the other scent notes. Great throw with the wax melts!

I have always loved wood fire-y candles. But the complexity added by the other scents just makes this so pleasant and it doesn't get boring at all! I love it and definitely want it for the cold months :)

I love this scent. Now all I need is the house to myself so I can burn it and finish my book.
A really really excellent scent. Adding this one to my buy again list.

This candle has become my new candle to burn while reading! The scent of the vanilla on burning wood is the perfect combo that will make you want to stay inside and snuggle. Be careful while burning this though! It's scent is very relaxing so if you feel you are going to mod off, blow out the candle and save it for another cuddly day!

I'm a sucker for most scents with vanilla in it, but my GOODNESS does this candle just perfectly capture the smell of a crackling fire! I absolutely love it! Burn this while reading and it's the perfect cozy spot!

This candle could easily be burned in the winter or in the summer (kind of like a bonfire). It smells like a cedarwood fire; a little earthy and smokey. The smell isn't delicate, but it has that intoxicating scent of a fireplace.

If you love bonfire (without the marshmallow smell added), this is for you! I think it would be great with a coffee, patchouli, or herbal candle if you are burning it near another candle or large room.

This really hit everything I love about a holiday scent. It is pleasantly potent and brings back the most amazing childhood memories. This tiny little candle scented my entire downstairs through the holiday season. Love love love!

Dumbledore would be proud. I was nervous about this one at first, afraid it would be too musky, but the vanilla really helps!

I am not a fan ofnthe woodsy scent but the warm vanilla really makes the difference! It is definitely the perfect candle to relax with a mug of tea/coffee/hot cocoa and a good book!

This candle reminds me of my Grandparents. I can remember relaxing by the fire on a cold winter night and reading a bedtime story to my Grandpa. I loved how they encouraged my brother and I to read and would have us read the story to them. Oh, how I miss those days. In this candle I can actually smell the crackling fire with just a hint of cozy sweetness. Another wonderful candle from the Winter Solstice box!

I am in love with the smokey, fireplace smell of this candle. I'm definitely something of a pyro, so when it comes to fire and all things smelling like fire, I am game! It also makes me think of leather books, and I'm a huge fan of it!

I'm in love with the combination of smoky and vanilla. It is perfect for a cold night in with a good book and a hot drink.
