This isn’t some soft, generic, crowd-pleasing candle. It’s distinctive, rich, intriguing, a little dark, and impossible to ignore. It projects well and strong, it creates a mood instantly, and feels like it belongs in a room filled with books, VELVET, candlelight, and a touch of mischief.
This candle doesn’t just have a scent—it has a whole vibe. It reminds me of the Tarot Reading candle scent. I couldn’t tell you the exact fragrance notes, but I can tell you the EXACT VIBE: If you love dark, gothic, unapologetically individualistic scents that fill a room, this might be your perfect candle. If you have at least one wall painted black, wear mostly black or deep purple, love vampires and witches, have contemplated joining a coven, or secretly wish you could raise a dragon in your cellar until it’s ready to respond to “Dracarys,” you’re probably going to love this candle.
To me, this scent smells like... if Kat Von D and Lestat had a perfect date night. I imagine this Dragon Tree candle scent filled room where they fall in eternal love. (Or if those names don't mean anything to you, replace with Chappell Roan, Hunter Schafer...Damiano David...I somehow imagine these people's homes smell exactly like this candle). And if none of these characters ring any bells, if you are more into cozy or pastry or flowery scents, which I also love, but this is not it. However, If you are drawn to bold, gothic, artistic, and individualistic scents, I think you’ll absolutely love Dragon Tree.

The candle is unique and one that really adds to my movie room. I’ve ordered it in the smallest size through the largest and they’ve all burned perfectly and put off the right amount of fragrance. You can tell this is truly a small business and each candle is made and packaged by hand, and not only that, but they are extremely high quality. Of course that means that you’re paying a premium… but i have considered that potentially the cost is too high. I’ve reordered several times but I do wonder where I need to draw the line. Perhaps instead of the free gifts, cut that cost so you can offer the candles at a slightly lower price?

I have to give huge kudos to Grasshopper! The smell is so relaxing, so nostalgic, so comforting. We have the melts and the scent is perfect and has excellent throw (like all Dio wax melts!) The scent lingers and they last forever!
Grasshopper is special. It’s that smell of wet grass after a summer day of childhood spent running through the sprinkler and playing with the water hose with the other neighborhood kids. So nostalgic and carefree!
The scent of the grass meeting the water is perfection.
I know I know. The 90s are over and I can’t go back BUT this helps me remember that feeling. Sigh. Absolutely wonderful!

Smells divine!

I love getting boxes from DIO! Stone Cottage is a new scent that is perfect for those earthy days. I love the sharp scent, it feels stony and leafy - like you've just stumbled upon a house in the woods!

Smells Great!

It smells exactly like wandering the midway with sticky hands and not a single responsibility. The cotton candy, candied apples, dirt, and fireworks somehow blend together into that perfect carnival-night atmosphere that feels impossible to describe until you smell it. Pure nostalgia.

I don’t know if the Scottish Highlands really smells like this candle but if it does I have to get there! Light and not strong or overpowering. If I close my eyes and smell the candle I can almost imagine laying in a meadow.

Our guess is cardamom, cinnamon, chai tea, clove, vanilla, musk. Smells amazing! We were 50/50 on this one too! lol

Our guess is Juniper, Sage, Cranberry, Camphor, Pine, Ozone, Peppermint ✨

This candle was a gift for someone who had frequently chased storms in the Midwest. She said the scent brought back fond memories of thunderstorms. LOL. She loves it.

Everything was perfect

Returning customer and have purchased more scents since this purchase. Mind you these are not going to have the throw of a 3 wick, big brand candle, but these leave a light, pleasant scent that doesn't overwhelm a space. Such fun, unique fragrances, will continue purchasing!
